Music specialist is a subsidiary of JAMA MUSIC Ltd. We've been serving the community's music needs for decades. We opened in Tooting Broadway Market and was the only retail outlet that specialised in reggae products in the area.
Music Specialist did not only sell reggae music but also all other genres such as old & current Soul, jazz, country and western, pop, calypso, soca and much more. We sold in all formats before the appearance of compact discs such as: 7”, 12” and long playing vinyl records, pre- recorded and blank cassettes and videos from Jamaica & the USA.
In the current CD & digital era we still sell these same formats while we maintain current products at Tooting Broadway Market.
Music Specialist “specialise” in reggae music and claimed the title of specialist in the reggae field. Over the years we have dedicated our full interest in reggae music. Our staff at Music Specialist must have excellent knowledge and understanding of reggae music.
We are passionate about our service to all customers and ensure that customers are happy with their purchases before they leave the shop. This is one of the reasons why we are one of the longest running independent reggae record shop in this country.
